Saturday 7th April 15.30 Sports Hall, KDYS Passion, seduction, romance, elegance and pride, subtlety and drama, a dance where you express everything in an embrace. Tango is life. Come along to this workshop by Cristina Aguilera, all the way from Argentina and discover the secrets of this exciting Latin American dance.

SALSA WORKSHOP FOLLOWED BY SALSA PARTY
Saturday April 7 19.30 Brandon Hotel Whether you’re a beginner with two left feet or a twinkle toed Salsa dancing expert the Samhlaiocht Easter Arts Festival Salsa night offers something for everyone. The evening will kick off with a 90 minute Salsa master-class to warm everyone up; then there’s a little break with light refreshments before the night kicks off with a Salsa Party going till late. Remember to bring your dancing shoes and your sense of fun!!

Sunday 8th April 13.15 St John’s Pastoral Centre PERFORMANCE Sunday 8th April 15.00 Siamsa Tire, Rehearsal Room Be enthralled by this amazing Afro-Brazilian martial art. Developed initially by African slaves in Brazil, combining acrobatic dance, martial art, music and song, Capoeira is rhythm, movement, energy and a lot of fun. Brought to us once more by Wilson Jose da Silva and Fabio Hilario, who this year will be joined by a Capoeira Master and Professor.

EGYPTIAN DANCE WORKSHOP
Sunday 8th April 16.30 Siamsa Tire, Rehearsal Room This graceful performance dance form known in the West as Belly Dance, is in fact based on one of the social dances native to the Middle East. This dance is performed by boys and girls, men and women of all ages during festive occasions for fun and celebration. Lorna Tyther is a renowned exponent and experienced teacher of Egyptian Dance.
