The Fanzini Brothers are two mad cap clowns who, in their own words, are “inspired by the mountains of Venice and the canals of the Italian Alps”. Hailing from Tralee, by way of Italy they have spared no expense to bring the new show to Siamsa Tíre in Tralee.

As the famous Con Fanzini tells it, “with no concern for our own safety, we laugh in the face of danger. We’ve torn up the budget and gave our accountant a good talking to in order to bring you an amazing variety of acts; dancing ladies, a motor bike wall of death, the flying trapeze, and the world famous Moroccan chicken throwers.”

But what’s this; Con’s brother Ronaldo has spent the entire budget on a gargantuan cannon! There is no money left for the acts! The show must go on, but what will they do. No one really knows, but you can bet your bottom dollar that it will be fantastic!

Cannonball Circus will take place in Siamsa Tíre on Easter Saturday, April 11th at 2:00 pm and at 5:30 pm. Tickets are €8 with family concessions available. Tickets can be booked directly from Siamsa on 066 712 3055.

Billy Goats Gruff Puppet-Show

Billy Goats Gruff is a unique blend of story telling, rod puppets and cabaret. Beginning with a demonstration of basic puppetry, the audience is led into the story of a walrus named Daryl and his search for a friend on the lonely beach he calls home.

Then comes the main story of Billy Goats Gruff , the tale of a little goat who dreams of far away hills and goes on a big adventure, which gets him and his family into trouble with a (not-too scary) troll.

The show closes with a most unusual sing-along that everyone is guaranteed to enjoy!
